GUIDE TO NEW CONNECTIONS

All interested parties who wish to connect residential and business installations to the district heating system have to submit application to the organizational unit “Marketing i prodaja” in St Cara Dusana 139, Zemun. Depending on the number of interested parties PUC “Beogradske elektrane” will begin preparation of planning documentation. Telephone number for more information is 2224-710 (8am – 2pm). In order to operate faster and more effectively it is needed to come in person.

There are three programs for connection to the district heating system:

  1. Program for connection of 21.000 apartments
  2. Regular connections program
  3. “Boiler houses shutting down” program





Program for connection of 21.000 apartments

According to this Program only the existing buildings erected in compliance with the Law on construction and planning can be connected to the DH system, anticipating that the building has all necessary documentation proving that it has been legally erected (Planning and usage permission)

The pre condition for connecting condominium to the DH net is to sign connection Contract for the area not less then 60% of the total building area.

For connection of small family houses is necessary to provide minimum area of 200 square meters for connection to substation. It is possible to connect several buildings to one substation, but only if they are situated on the same side of the street.
On January 1, 2007 price for new connection-participation was 1.560.05 RSD per square meter.
Participation includes – engineering and installation of piping connection (from the connection point to the recipient), installation of primary substation and heat exchangers (placed in the facility provided for the substation). Participation does not include installation of secondary piping, secondary substation and internal installations. The prospective customers should establish those installations in compliance with conditions and project documentation verified by PUC “Beogradske elektrane”.
There are two possibilities for payments. First is to pay the entire amount and have 5% discount, or to pay 10 % as the pre-payment and the rest of the amount to repay in 36 installments or portions.

Regular connections program

According to this Program connection to DH system is possible for newly erected buildings, additional erections, refurbished buildings and existing so called old buildings.
On January 1, 2007 price for new connection –participation was 2.550 RSD per square meter plus VAT
Participation includes installation of piping connection and primary substation. Engineering and installation of secondary substation as well as internal installations is Investor’s obligation, all in compliance with conditions and project documentation verified by PUC “Beogradske elektrane”.






Boiler houses shutting down program

If citizens were supplied with heat from individual block boiler houses, and there are conditions for connection to DH system, there is a possibility to conclude connection contract under Boiler houses shutting down program.
On January 1, 2007 price for new connection – participation was 1.900 RSD per square meter plus VAT.
Participation includes engineering and installation of piping connection, installation of primary substation and heat exchangers.
